delle-aliTottenham Hotspur have won the race for MK Dons wonderkid Dele Alli after they confirmed the signing of the 18-year-old late on Monday night.

The teenager will link up with Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the summer after he was loaned back to the League One club for the remainder of the season.
Alli, valued at around £5million, had also been pursued by Newcastle United and Aston Villa, who will be disappointed by his decision.
The midfielder has made 76 first-team appearances for MK Dons despite being two months shy of his 19th birthday.
Alli said on Tottenham’s official Twitter feed: ‘It’s a massive club and I’m really happy to be here.
‘I’m really looking forward to meeting all the lads and getting to work with the manager. It’s a dream come true
‘I’d love to play for Spurs and at White Hart Lane. It won’t be easy and I’ll have to fight for my place in the team but I’ll work hard to do that.’
Newcastle had been viewed as the favourites to land the midfielder, but Tottenham have won the transfer battle.
Alli scored 12 goals in 32 appearances for Karl Robinson’s side this season and starred in the 4-0 Capital One Cup win against Manchester United back in August
