CITY TEAM NEWS: With Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic all missing through injury, Manuel Pellegrini has selected a side without a recognized striker. From their 1-0 win over Leicester City, Jose Angel Pozo and Frank Lampard make way for James Milner and Jesus Navas, so expect plenty of interchanging up top. Aleksandar Kolarov and Pablo Zabaleta come into the full-back positions with Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy dropping out.
City starting Line up -Man City (4-2-3-1): Hart; Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov; Fernandinho, Toure; Navas, Silva, Nasri; Milner.
Man City substitutes: Caballero, Sagna, Boyata, Fernando, Lampard, Sinclair, Ambrose.
PALACE TEAM NEWS: Marouane Chamakh misses out through injury, but Adrian Mariappa is fit following a knee injury although he only makes the bench. Fraizer Campbell therefore leads the line, with Wilfred Zaha making way for Jason Puncheon in the only other change from the side that drew 1-1 with Stoke City.Palace have not won at City since 1990, when Ian Wright was among the scorers in a 2-0 victory at Maine Road. That's almost 25 years ago now, and their recent record won't fill them with confidence. The Eagles have not won against the Citizens in their last six meetings in all competitions.
Crystal Palace (4-3-3): Speroni; Kelly, Hangeland, Dann, Ward; McArthur, Jedinak, Ledley; Puncheon, Campbell, Bolasie
Crystal Palace substitutes: Hennessey, Mariappa, Delaney, Bannan, Thomas, Zaha, Gayle.
